Freezing Rain, Maybe Thunderstorms for Christmas

Rain and freezing ran can be expected for Christmas in the Sioux Empire.

A strong storm system will bring a wide range of weather today. For this morning, places along and north of I-90 will see freezing drizzle. This will produce a glaze of ice until temperatures rise above freezing later this morning. For this afternoon and evening, expect scattered thunderstorms to develop. These storms will move from central South Dakota and Nebraska early this afternoon into southwestern Minnesota and northwestern Iowa this evening.
