Every now and then there is a song that is really good, really catchy, with a sound or line or phrase that makes me want to pull my ears off and pray I never hear it again. I can't explain why it causes me to become full of rage, but my reaction is usually a disgusted mocking followed by a yelp of pain. Do not misinterpret what I mean. I don't dislike these songs or the artists who perform them. But each one has a repeated sound that makes me want to jerk the wheel into an overpass bridge support.

Nick Jonas - "Levels"

"Levels" is the most recent song invade my brain with a noise that should not be heard. Right after the chorus an up and down riff is accompanied by a voice, presumably that of Nick Jonas, pitched way down singing "Bwah bwah bwah, bwah bwah bwah, bwah bwah bwah." That sound makes me want to punch myself in the ear.

Fall Out Boy - "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark"

I love this song. It's my favorite of all of them on this list. But I still have a burning hatred for the opening voice/beat/loop/thingy on the first single from FOB's Save Rock and Roll. The singing like noise sounding like "Bam-beppa-bam-bam" on constant repeat at the beginning of the song, repeated throughout, and makes me want to run full speed into a brick wall.

Taylor Swift - "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"

"Weeee-eeeeeeee" is catchy and memorable. It also bounces around inside my skull and makes me want to peel my ears off. The song is great otherwise.

Justin Bieber - "As Long As You Love Me"

The "Luh-luh-luh" sounds that are digitally repeated and not actually sung at the end of the chorus is reminiscent of Cher's "Believe" in it's digital editing fakery. This one isn't as bad as some, but I still want to stab myself in the forehead with a fork.
