These must have been a really nice pair of kicks!

According to Sioux Falls Police, three men armed with an assortment of guns and one man carrying a baseball bat broke into a Sioux Falls home early Monday morning to steal a pair of shoes.

The incident occurred around midnight at a home located in the 3700 block of North Seventh Avenue. Five people were home at the time of the break in.

One of the armed suspects kicked open the door to the home, as the other men entered, according to Sam Clemens, with the Sioux Falls police department.

Upon entering the home, the men had all of the victims line up, and two of them, a man and a woman, were hit in the head with the butt of a rifle, Clemens said.

The men then proceeded to take a pair of Jordan shoes that were in a box, and then fled the scene. No cash, or other items were taken.

One of the victims was able to recognized one of the four robbers, and police have the name of one possible suspect.

All four intruders were described as black men in their early 20s. One was 6-feet 2-inches tall and 250 pounds, and another was 6-feet tall, weighing 160 pounds. The other two were 5-feet-10-inches, 170 pounds.
