WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Former Sioux Falls Stampede goaltender Juho Olkinuora has signed an NHL entry level contract with the Winnipeg Jets. He has been assigned to the Jets top affiliate, the St. John’s IceCaps, of the AHL.

Olkinuora helped lead the Stampede to the Western Conference Finals while going 2-3-0 2.70 GAA and a .911 save percentage in five postseason games.

Most recently, Olkinuora spent the past two seasons playing between the pipes at the University of Denver. This past season, Olkinuora went 13-6-5 with a 2.35 GAA and a .927 save percentage in 24 games. He recorded three shutouts and was named to the Second Team All-WCHA.
