Happy New Year everyone! Thursday February 19 is the start of the Chinese New Year. It's the year of the Goat.
Darn, and I just got used to writing 'Horse' on my checks!!! Sorry, couldn't help it. The joke is only good one day a year.
If you're like me, and know absolutely NO Chinese, there's a website you have to check out. It's called Google Translate. There's even an audio function available that will help you with pronunciation.
Brian Kirk from the KDLT Weather Center was the one who turned me onto it. There are a total of 91 different languages to choose from. All you do is type in what you want to say, hit 'translate' and the website does the rest. Check it out, it's pretty cool!
