Roads are being treated with salt and sand in and around Sioux Falls. Sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways are "a sheet of glass" so walk with care.

Early caller stated speeds along I 29 were around 50mph due to patchy ice and heavy fog.

One caller reported cars upside down and in the ditch on Hwy 11 just South West of Sioux Falls. One early report said it could have involved up to a dozen vehicles.

If you are traveling today keep up-to-date with changing interstate and highway conditions across South Dakota.
