If you're flying somewhere this Summer, expect to pay more to get from point A to point B. Rick Seaney is with Fare Compare.

"Our data shows that the very cheapest prices, the base prices, are up about half a percent from last year. So that's the good news, whatever you paid for your ticket last year, you're probably going to pay about the same this year."

Seaney goes on to say though, expect to be charged a higher baggage fee.

"With the bag fee bringing in over $3.5 billion in revenue, which accounted for about half of all the airline profits last year, most airlines are going to start charging. Even the low cost airlines like Spirit, Allegiant and Frontier have announced they're going to start charging for carry-ons."
