Fire Monday evening destroyed a mobile home in the 1900 block of North Tombill Place in Sioux Falls.

The fire was reported around 6:45pm, and Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Jay Titus says the first crews on the scene found flames coming from half of the home.

The fire was under control in about fifteen minutes, but the home was a total loss.

The residents were out of the home when fire crews arrived, but two dogs died in the fire. There were no civilian injuries, but one firefighter had minor injuries.

Titus says the home did not have sprinklers or working smoke detectors.
