Around 9:30 PM Saturday night Sioux Falls Police were told that two women were fighting inside the Empire Bowl
Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says the combatants were then told to leave the establishment. While outside one of the women obtained a butterfly knife and wanted to resume the fight.

During her search the woman started stabbing cars randomly, puncturing the hood of one vehicle and scratching the windows of two others causing nearly $1400 in damage.

By the time police arrived at the Empire Bowl, the suspect had left. However, a short time later police were called to the Hy-Vee on 49th and Louise for someone needing medical attention. The person who necessitated the medical call matched the description of the knife-wielding woman at the Empire Bowl.

19-year-old Mary Elizabeth Kromminga of Sioux Falls was arrested for felony intentional damage to property.
