Teri Schmidt, Executive Director of the Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau, has great news for Falls Park!

"We are up about 4,400 people already - just year to date.  With the warm weather that we know is coming we realize there will be a boost of visitors to Falls Park."

Teri says Falls Park attracts visitors from throughout the world.

"People from all over the world come to Falls Park.  Last year we had all 50 states and 49 foreign countries sign  in at Falls Park.  They love the nature, they love that it's part of the history of Sioux Falls.  It's so interesting because the visitors ask about what kind of trees and flowers are at the park.   There's such an interest in the outdoors as well as the culture of our community."

This is National Travel and Tourism Week.
