Falch’s Record-Breaking Performance Earns NSIC Honors

BURNSVILLE, MN — Augustana‘s Runa Falch broke her own school record on her way to winning the 3,000 meter run at the Minnesota State Preseason Open and was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference track athlete of the week in a release on Tuesday morning.
Falch finished the 3,000 meters in 9:37.87 to break her own record at Augustana by nearly five seconds. With this time, Falch provisionally qualifies for the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala. that will take place in March.
