SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) - A man released from an Ohio prison six months ago has been arrested in the killing of a woman and her two young children.

Authorities said at a news conference Monday afternoon 41-year-old Curtis Clinton was arrested on charges of aggravated murder.

Officers found the bodies of 23-year-old Heather Jackson and her 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son Saturday night in their home in Sandusky, in northern Ohio. A family friend had told police they hadn't been heard from all day.

Clinton is being held at the Erie County jail and can't be reached for comment. There's no phone listed for his home. Police say he's scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Clinton spent 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of a woman in Wood County.
