After living in a few different apartments in college I was wiser about that kind of living. Every time I ever shopped for a new apartment I always wanted one in the corner of the building on the top floor. That way I would only have three adjoining neighbors to annoy me. On a middle floor in the middle of the building you could have five or more to drive you insane.

One apartment I had in Brookings while I was enrolled at, not attending so much at SDSU, I had a couple of large neighbors. I didn't care that they were overweight I cared that they were incapable of stepping softly. If one of them got off the couch to get a beer it sounded like a horse trotted by upstairs. Sometime I swear they were doing it just to drive me and my roommate nuts.

Enter the Above Average sketch comedy channel on YouTube to illustrate what it was probably like inside my old neighbor's apartment. In this video they turn being a noisy neighbor into performance art.
