Everyone Should be a Talent Show Emcee at Least Once

When you work in the radio world, you get asked to announce different events. I've been the emcee at banquets and events. I've been the public address announcer for the Sioux Falls Skyforce for the past 10 years.

So, when my wife, (I'll call her Mrs. B) asked me to emcee the talent show at Renberg Elementary in Sioux Falls I jumped at the chance.

Actually, I didn't jump. It's just, when your wife asks you to do something, you....jump.

I went out and did the event today. The kids were great and might I add quite talented. We had kids play solo on piano. They played songs on recorders. They danced, did gymnastics and did what kids getting out of school for the summer do a lot.  Smile!

I had a great time at the event. They asked me back next year. If I can clear it on the calender, chances are I'll probably say yes!

Oh, the most popular song of the event, was the song Let It Go, from the movie Frozen. The did that song too.  Three times!
