Governor Dennis Daugaard invites you to a state celebration this weekend.  It comes around every four years.  All you need to do is get your ticket.  
The Office of the Governor has submitted a guide on how you can attend the 2015 Inaugural celebration.

Ticket sales for the Capitol and Inaugural Balls will close at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2015.  Until then, tickets can be purchased online at pierretickets.com, by calling 1.800.962.2034 during normal business hours, or in-person at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce, 800 W. Dakota Ave., Pierre.

The Capitol Ball, featuring the Over Forte band, begins at 6:30 PM at the State Capitol. The Grand March begins at 7:00 PM Tickets are required and cost $25 per person.

The Inaugural Ball, featuring the 147th Army Band, South Dakota National Guard, begins at 8:00 PM at the Ramkota River Centre. The Inaugural Ball Grand March begins at 9:00 PM Tickets are required and cost $25 per person.

Those who purchase tickets online or over the phone will be able to pick up their ticket at the Capitol on Saturday. Will call tickets will be located on the first floor of the Capitol from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

There is an option for those who want to take the no-cost route.  Oaths of office ceremonies for legislators begin at 11:00 AM CST. The oath of office ceremony for the Governor and other elected state officials begins at noon. All oaths of office ceremonies are free, open to the public and will be held at the State Capitol.
