Additional Information

Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis is the nation’s largest walk program dedicated to raising funds and awareness for digestive diseases, is now in all fifty US states raising essential funds and awareness for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis -- two chronic, painful digestive diseases that affect 1 in 200 American adults and children.

Over 1.4 million American adults and children are affected by these digestive diseases. While many suffer in silence, Take Steps brings together this community in a fun and energetic atmosphere, encouraging them to make noise and be heard.

This year’s local Walk Hero is 14-year-old Rohan Singh, who was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease five years ago. Now, he is walking with his family and friends in order to raise funds and awareness for this debilitating digestive disease because they know Rohan’s current treatment won’t last forever and we need to find a cure!
