People attending the 16th annual Argus Leader RibFest should plan on bringing their singing voices to South Dakota’s Biggest Backyard Barbeque this year, because the entertainment lineup could become South Dakota’s Biggest Sing-Along Party of the year!

This year’s concert schedule on the Mike’s Hard Lemonade stage features a diverse roster of popular bands, beginning Thursday, May 30 with A1A, the official and original Jimmy Buffet tribute band (and the only band sanctioned by Jimmy Buffet himself) at 7:30 p.m. A1A brings to life a highly energetic, colorful, family friendly concert experience that brings in the fresh ocean breezes of tropical flavor that is akin to being at Jimmy’s show. Prior to A1A, local ZZ Top tribute band ZZ3 will get this year’s RibFest off to a rockin’ start at 5 p.m.

Friday night’s headliner, country musician Neal McCoy, brings a pocket full of hit songs for local country fans to enjoy singing along to, including No. 1 singles “No Doubt About It” and “Wink.” Opening for McCoy will be long time fan favorites Dustin Evans, Allen Goodroad and Andy Gibson.

Earlier in the day, music fans will enjoy a beach music sing-a-long with Surfin’ Safari, and the always popular-to-sing-along-with Too Drunk to Fish.

Saturday features a frequent RibFest performer – the always fun to sing along with Johnny Holm Band starting at 7 p.m. Kicking off the day at 11:30 a.m. will be the Poker Alice Band followed by the Toby Kane Band.

Popular children’s entertainer Phil Baker will perform two shows on Sunday.

This year’s RibFest will be held May 30-June 2 in the north parking lot at the Sioux Falls Arena. Hours are 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. Thursday; 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission to the Argus Leader RibFest is $5, or purchase a $10 all-weekend pass.

Argus Leader RibFest is sponsored by Argus Leader Media, J&L Harley Davidson, Midcontinent Communications, Results Radio/Town Square Media, Dakota Beverage, Sanford Health, Campbell Supply, Ag United, Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse and Pepsi.
