Here is a look at the new Denny Sanford Premier Center from the roof of the Convention Center with construction supervisor Brian Boe and members of the Sioux Falls City Council.

The Argus Leader reports that:

Terry Torkildson, general manager, said he was given the go-ahead to begin booking events starting in September 2014. Already, he has holds for several concerts as far out as May 2015, in addition to already finalized events such as the Summit League tournament. He declined to go into details since they aren’t done deals, but said, “It will surprise a lot of people.”“We’ve got a lot of people who are really looking forward to bringing shows here,” he said.
