Rihanna is too sexy for her skincare contract. The singer has been a CoverGirl. She also hawks Vita Coco vitamin water. She is/was the face of legendary skincare brand Nivea, posing naked for the brand’s 100-year anniversary while it sponsored her tour.

Since RiRi loves to show her skin, it made sense for her to partner with a skincare brand, right? Eh, not so fast, according to Stefan Heidenreich, the new CEO of Beiersdorf, the brand’s parent company. He called her a “no go,” criticizing her overly sexy image.

According to the Press Association, Heidenreich told German newspaper Welt that “Rihanna is a no go.

I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna.” He further stated, “Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”

Apparently, RiRi’s overtly sexy persona, her hard partying antics, which she shares on Twitter, her disdain for being a role model and her penchant for flashing a little too much has cost her the endorsement. Her pot-smoking, nipple-flashing exploits are not family friendly fun. Even her Instagram handle is Bad Girl RiRi. She’s clearly not hiding her intentions or her behavior by any means.

It seems like RiRi is being dumped by the brand, although no official statement has been issued.

Rihanna posted a tweet with a photo of the CEO. She didn’t say much — literally — but it’s implied that’s she not too happy with this situation.
