Driver Hits 2 Parked Cars Early Monday Morning

The Sioux Falls Police Department responded to a three vehicle collision early Monday morning at 11^th St and Minnesota Ave, near the YMCA in downtown Sioux Falls.

At about 4:18 a.m. 18 year-old Gage Allen Peck was driving north on Minnesota Avenue in a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant, when his vehicle struck two parked, unoccupied vehicles, a 2003 Honda Accord and a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

Peck was arrested for DWI, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, ingesting and for not having a valid driver’s license.  A passenger in Peck’s vehicle was taken to the hospital by ambulance for what was believed to be minor injuries.  All three vehicles were towed from the scene.
