Donald Moeller’s Execution Scheduled

The South Dakota Department of Corrections announced that 60 year old Donald Moeller will be executed Tuesday night at 10 p.m. CDT.  Doug Weber, Director of Prison Operations and Warden of the South Dakota Penitentiary set the date and time for the scheduled execution.

Moeller, the second to be executed in a month, was convicted in the 1990 slaying of a 9-year-old girl.  He will die by lethal injection.

On October 15th, Eric Robert was put to death for killing South Dakota prison guard Ronald "R.J." Johnson during a failed escape attempt.
