Do You Have the Best Non-Alcoholic Drink Recipe for the Holidays

Just in time for those holiday parties the Mocktail Mix-Off is a hands-on contest to determine the best non-alcoholic beverage.

AAA South Dakota says it's a fun way to do something about a serious problem: drinking & driving.

All recipes will then be made available to the public in time for holiday parties.

Judges for the Great Pretenders Mocktail Mix-Off are Minnehaha County Sheriff, Mike Milstead, Lee Axdahl, Highway Safety Director for the State of South Dakota and Drew Laberis, Executive Chef for Avera Health.

The contest will feature contestants actually making their original, zero-proof beverages for the judges who will evaluate the drinks on taste, appearance, originality, presentation and name. The public will also be invited to choose their People's Choice drink.

The event begins at 6:00 PM.

And the top recopies will earn some nice prizes: first place - $1,000, second place - $350 and third place - $150.
