Over the last number of years I've tried my best to eat better.  I try to exercise more and take my daily vitamins.  Recently I started "Juicing".  Not like Barry Bonds.  I've been blending up lots of fruits loaded with germ fighting vitamins.

So take my good friend and co-worker Karla Brown.  She has never juiced a vegetable in her life.  She can't ever spell "Fresh Fruit".  Never gets sick.

Me, I've come to the realization that when the "Crap" goes around, it's going to pack it's little slimy bags and come visit my house.  I wash my hands frequently.  I gargle.  I try not to shake hands.  My friends and family call me a germaphobe.   Bullys.

Recently while I was convalescing, between coughs, I was doing some online research about protecting yourself against seasonal illness.

I read about consuming lots of natural antioxidants, getting more vitamin D, C, & B12, effects of stress on wellness, getting more sleep, eat big breakfasts, eat more fruits, eat more probiotics, yadda, yadda, yack, yack, yack...

Screw it.  Short of moving into an inflatable bubble room in Patty's basement there just isn't much I can do.

I realize in the scheme of things it ain't no big thing.  It's just life.  Pass the cough syrup.
