What in the world is going on with Mariah Carey's 14th album 'The Art of Letting Go?' Last we checked, the supreme diva had planned to drop the much-anticipated and long-gestating new album on May 6. That's two weeks from tomorrow. However, it's not looking likely. At all.

First, the album, which she revealed will feature her twins, is no longer listed on her label's website as an upcoming release, as pointed out here.

Second, Mimi's last handful of singles have gone nowhere. The title track -- if that is still the title -- suffered from the wrong mix being uploaded and then stalled on the charts. The follow up, 'You're Mine (Eternal),' also had a lukewarm reception at radio.

The album has been in the works for a while, with Carey making tweaks here and there, and pulling it from its planned summer 2013 release. She addressed those delays here.

The singer has had three managers and she has released four tracks, including 'Triumphant' and '#Beautiful,' in the past few years, not to mention the several release dates that have been swapped out. The album was also initially on the books for a 2012 release, as well.

Is the singer overdoing it? Is she over-cooking the album, and thinking too hard? She has had so many No. 1 singles over the course of her career that she is likely wondering why her recent tracks have stalled and failed to ignite on the charts. Not being in the Top 5 is foreign territory for her, so it could force her into a creative conundrum.

Mimi last released an album in 2009 in the form of 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.'

Sorry, little lambs. It seems like the wait continues for a new Mimi album.

While the fate of the album is up in the air, Mimi did share some photos of herself and her twins Monroe and Moroccan on Easter, along with hubby Nick Cannon.

What a lovely fam photo!
