Derek Miles Fails to Advance in Pole Vault at Olympics

Derek Miles had his shot at the pole vault at the Olympics in London today. Unfortunately he did not advance out of the preliminaries.

The USD track and field coach failed to clear 5.20 meters this morning in London.

This year is Miles 3rd time competing at the Olympic games. He placed 7th in the pole vault at the 2004 games in Athens and 4th in 2008 in Bejing.
