This one put a lump in my throat. Nine year old Alayna Adams was chosen by the U.S.O. to throw out the first pitch Thursday before the Tampa Bay Devil Rays-Boston Red Sox game. She was told by the U.S.O. that she was chosen for the honor because her father Lt. Col. Will Adams had been deployed to Afghanistan for the better part of two years.

Before Alyana threw the pitch, a video tape of her Dad played.  He said he would see her soon.  She just didn't know how soon.

She threw the pitch to the catcher.  The catcher flipped up his mask. When she recognized that it was her father, she ran to his arms.  Watch the video. It'll make your day and I hope it affects you the same way as it affected me.
