Winning a NASCAR race at Darlington Raceway is prestigious. Winning in two different series in the same weekend is priceless.

That was the case for Denny Hamlin, the driver of the #11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. He won both the NASCAR XFINITY Series and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races over the Labor Day weekend.

The Cup race win was very dynamic on how it played out to the end. Hamlin made a big mistake when attempting to pit on lap 313 of 367.

He came in too fast and missed the pit entrance. He would give up a lot of ground in the race.

But came back hard on fresh tires and chased down Martin Truex Jr., who was having a difficult time controlling his car out front on tires that were shot.

With two laps to go Truex brushed the wall and cut a tire. Hamlin drove by for the win, coming in ahead of Kyle Busch by over 2.5 seconds. See where your driver finished.
