Demi Lovato Warns Miley Cyrus Against That Whole ‘Line in the Bathroom’ Thing

Singer, actress, 'X Factor' judge, old soul, recovering drug addict, bulimic, cutter, bi-polar and all around adorable and wise Demi Lovato has seen a lot. As a result, when she advises you to cut down your partying, you may want to listen.

Unless you're Miley Cyrus.

Days after Cyrus came out and explained that her song, 'We Can't Stop,' originally intended for Rihanna, contains lyrics about "tryin' to get a line in the bathroom" and "dancing with Molly," the latter of which she previously lied and said was actually "dancing with Miley."

Cyrus dismissed any questions or criticisms with "You know what I'm up to."

"You" includes Lovato, who doesn't necessarily approve of Cyrus' behavior, but like a stern mom, realizes the girl needs to make her own mistakes. Like wearing grills and calling hip-hop music "urban."

“She knows how I feel about the whole partying thing,” Lovato told MTV News. “And I’m always like, ‘Just be careful.’ And she’s like, ‘Dude, I’m chilling. It’s fine.’”

Lovato explained, "I care for [Miley] so much [that] I’m so protective, but she’s good. She’s got a good head on her shoulders.”

She added, “I surround myself with people that are beneficial in my recovery and my recovery is still a daily battle and I definitely hang out with people that support me in making the right decisions."

Translation? If Cyrus were genuine in her promotion of drug use, Lovato would dump her as a pal. Keep this in mind next time you think the former 'Hannah Montana' starlet actually earned a hood pass.
