It was Dynamic Duos on DWTS last night. Everyone from Romeo and Juliet to Lucy and Ricky were portrayed.

There was also immunity on the line. The night's top scorer would be safe from elimination and safe from dancing in the dance battles at the end of the show.

Janel and Val did a beautiful contemporary routine as Romeo and Juliet. I loved that it was done to a song from the Romeo + Juliet movie version featuring Leonardo DiCaprio. If you haven't seen that movie, you should. Anyway, I love that song, 'Everybody's Free.'

It was a great performance and they got immunity with a perfect score.

After a stellar performance last week, but crappy scores, Mark Ballas was ready to come back to the ballroom and fight with a vengeance.

He and Sadie were Adam and Eve. Last week, the judges said there wasn't enough dance content and too much concept. Well, this week Mark did an even bigger production and concept and they danced a contemporary routine. With contemporary, there kind of aren't any rules so they could really do whatever they wanted. It was kind of a big middle finger to the judges and I loved it!

Singer, BC Jean performed the song they danced to live. This was a bit of a dagger in my heart because I believe BC is Mark's real-life girlfriend. No need to rub it in, Mark.

Also, in the rehearsal footage, they are working on a lift and Sadie asks if Mark has to touch her butt to do the lift and all I could think was, "Why are you complaining about that? Do you know how many girls would love Mark to touch their butts?" LOL

Everybody else dances and everybody does their usual. Alfonso is awesome. Bethany is great under Derek's guidance. And Tommy and Michael try really hard. Then it is time for the dance battles.

Alfonso and Lea battled it out in the jive dance off. Alfonso won by a pretty fair margin, but Lea held her own.

It was Sadie v. Bethany in the Cha Cha dance off, but really it was Derek v. Mark. And I gotta say, for the most part I respect Derek as a dancer, but he, at the last moment, opens up his shirt and I felt that that was just a cheap trick for votes. How about you just dance well and keep your pecs put away. This match up was actually a tie among the judges. However, when there is a tie among the judges, the head judge's vote is the winner and Len voted for Derek and Bethany. Whatever. I'm over it.

Then it was the Rumba dance off between Michael and Tommy. Tommy is injured, but pulled off a convincing rumba. Michael was awkward as usual. Tommy wins the dance off.

In the end, Michael finally went home! Finally! He seems like a nice guy, but at this point watching him dance was uncomfortable.

Next week, I think it is Tommy's time to go. He's been putting up one heck of a fight, but he's injured now and I think it would just be for the best.
