ELMHURST, IL -- South Dakota's Allie Daly and South Dakota State's Devon Reick have been named to The Summit League Softball Academic All-League Team.

Daly 3.727 GPA, majoring in psychology and is enrolled in USD's pre-physical therapy program.  The sophomore catcher from Sioux Falls led The Summit League with 13 home runs, 16 doubles and 52 RBI while hitting .301 with 47 hits and 32 runs scored.  Daly tied for the fifth-most home runs in Summit League single-season history.  Her RBI total tied for ninth.

Reick -- an Omaha, Neb. senior -- posted a 3.33 GPA as a nursing major and earned second team all-league after the season as an outfielder. Reick led the Jackrabbits with 52 hits, which ranked fourth in The Summit League.  She finished the  season with a .361 batting average with 25 runs scored.

The All-Academic team is made up of 10 players that posted at least a 3.0 grade point average and played in at least 50 percent of her team’s games.
