St. Joseph High School Cross-Country Team in California had someone join them for their run last week: shelter dogs!

Each runner was paired with a shelter dog from the  Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter.

Their coach said on Facebook, "Each team member was assigned a dog and we went out for a couple miles around the shelter. I am not sure who was more excited and having the most fun… the dogs or the kids.”

The video had more than 100,000 views and was liked more than 3,000 times. As you can see, one of them got tired out!
