Cover Song Friday – Halsey ‘Lucid Dreams’

Its been a while since we had a cover song Friday but this one is a good one. Recent Halsey stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a stripped-down version of her newest single “Without Me,” as well as a cover of Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams” on Wednesday (Nov. 7).

What happens next is truly emotional! As you may know, she recently broke up with boyfriend G-Easy and just by her facial expression, especially when she said "she was dreaming of a wedding ring," you can really feel her pain. The lyrics literally come to life with the emotion she puts into it.

The 24-year old singer just wrapped up her "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom" world tour back in August. Halsey will be performing in St. Paul on December 3rd. Lucid Dreams was recently number 7 on the Soo Foo Hot 40 on November 3, 2018.
