Couple Shocks Everyone by Announcing They’re Having Triplets

Desiree and Ryan Fortin from San Diego, California, who met in college and have been married for six years, had been trying to have a baby for years, but like many couples, struggled with infertility. So after two unsuccessful attempts with Intrauterine Insemination, the couple became pregnant using In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

The couple threw a gender reveal party and asked their guests to guess the different boy/girl combinations they believed the couple were expecting, drawing tally marks on a chalkboard.

They then brought out two sealed cardboard boxes, dramatically revealing the gender of their set of twins as blue balloons popped out to symbolize the baby boys. But just when you thought the party was winding down, the couple revealed they had an even bigger one up their sleeve.
