It's amazing how quickly things change in college football.

Just last week, Nebraska had their sights set on a Big Ten West Division Championship and a Top Ten ranking in the NCAA College Football Playoff poll.

Now a week later, all of that is a distant memory.

After blowing a 14-point lead and allowing Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon to rush for more than 400 yards in just three quarters, the Cornhuskers were left battered and bruised, with more questions than answers following their second straight beat down in Madison.

I asked the 'Voice of the Huskers' Greg Sharpe about what happened against the Badgers:

This week, it's home one final time for the Huskers in 2014, as they host a Minnesota team that upset them in Minneapolis last season.

For the second straight week, it will be up to the Nebraska defense to stop a talented running back:

Kickoff in Lincoln is 11:00am Saturday.

The Wisconsin loss triggered a ton of reaction in Husker nation, a lot of it negative toward head coach Bo Pelini and his program.

I asked Greg about the state of Nebraska football right now:

Nebraska closes out the regular season at Iowa next Friday morning at 11.
