Hey, do you like funny stuff? Do you like free entertainment? Of course you do, they are two great tastes that taste great together - or something (whew, that analogy broke bad quick).

Anyways, I have a Consume This Content recommendation for you: the podcast Jordan Jessie Go!

It's a free, weekly comedy show. The Jordan from the title is Jordan Morris, a writer for Comedy Central's @ Midnight (a show you should watch BTW). The Jesse is NPR host Jesse Thorn. Together they host fun conversations featuring favorites from the comedy world.

The show is great because it's like hanging out with your friends, if your friends were really funny and had crafted an entertaining 90 minute conversation.

Jessie is a family man, business owner and radio host. Jordan is a comedy writer and gamer. They've been friends since college and the ease with which they interact on the show is captivating. They know how to play and build on each others ideas, enhancing a story or adding a punchline. Add in the week's guest, like comedian Chris Fairbanks or writer Nick Adams and it really gets to be a great time.

Two thing I really like about the show. First, it's not a political or issues based show. They may discuss current events, but the discussion rarely moves far away from funny. There aren't loud-mouths telling me what to think. This show is where I can go to escape that kind of talk. It's an oasis of silly and well told stories of life.

Second, because the show is based in Los Angeles and the hosts and guests work in the entertainment there is lots of very interesting industry talk. Not tabloid gossip, but what the day-to-day life of someone that makes their living in that world is like. For example, Jordan is a writer and performer and it's always fascinating to hear him talk about what it's like to go on auditions, get work, be on sets or in writers rooms.

It's a fun and funny world to be a part of. Get the show from iTunes or from their website.
