With two country clubs, three city owned courses, all the GreatLIFE properties and other stand alone golf courses in the area to choose from, it's not hard to find a tournament at  any of them.

Here's something a bit different to consider on June 30th.

The 2017 Compass Center Golf Challenge is a skills competition. Your regular foursome can finally prove to themselves who the better putter is. Which one of you can chip the best or drive the ball off the tee more consistently.

  • Driving Range Challenge (men's, women's, and children's)
  • Putting Challenge
  • Chipping Challenge
  • Fun Skills Challenges

The Compass Center "provide crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education service to those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking" at no charge.

According to the event's website:

This will be an evening of fun. Even for the family who golfs together. Grand prize for the overall Challenge Champion is a car from Billion Chevrolet.

Non golfers are welcome to attend and watch the challenges while relaxing under the shade of a large tent while enjoying dinner and drinks.

You can find out more about the event, including costs, times and registration, at The Compass Challenge website.
