Before Melissa Joan Hart was Sabrina: The Teenage Witch, she was Clarissa Darling on Nickelodeon's Clarissa Explains It All.

Clarissa was the coolest. She had quirky clothes, her hair was always on point, her friend, Sam, that came through the window was cute, she had a computer in her room, and she had a pet alligator! What more could a 90's girl want?

I also related to Clarissa because she had an annoying younger brother, Ferguson, and I had an annoying younger brother as well.

Clarissa Explains It All  ran from 1991 to 1994 and was Nickelodeon's first live action show with a female lead. She paved the way for The Secret World of Alex Mack and The Amanda Show.

Well, guess what?! In this age of reboots and revivals, Clarissa is going to explain stuff all over again.

Melissa Joan Hart is in talks to reprise her role as Clarissa, but this time she's the mom with the kids! It would once again air on Nickelodeon.

The original creator, Mitchell Kriegman, is also in talks to come back.

It seems similar to what Disney has done with Raven's Home, a sequel to That's So Raven.

So far, nothing is official, but I am all for this reboot of Clarissa Explains It All. But they better leave the opening number the same! It was the best!
