Just days after Sandara "Dara" Park shared a handwritten letter about 2NE1's dissolution with fans during a taping in the Philippines, the Baddest Female herself, CL, posted a heartbreaking message about the iconic K-pop group's disappointing announcement on her Twitter page on Tuesday, November 29.

Addressing the group's dedicated fan base, the Blackjacks, the girl group member-turned-solo artist and "Lifted" singer wrote, "I just wanted to let you guys know that we are all still here and we will always be one team, one family. Minzy, Bom, Dara will all be doing great things on their own and I will always love and support them."

CL also revealed that over the summer she and her group mates had met in Korea to work on what was intended to be their new album, "but it fell apart." It's likely the band's final album—the songs recorded in 2016—will never see the light of day.

On November 25, YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 officially disbanded and while CL and Dara had renewed their contracts as solo artists, Bom Park "did not have a renewal." Minzy, meanwhile, left the group back in April.
