Maybe chocolate is good for more than just the soul - it may be the new brain food.

A new Harvard study found chocolate may help keep the brain healthy and sharp into old age.

Older people given hot cocoa, twice a day for a month, saw blood flow and memory improve by up to 30%.

But according to ABC News, researchers also caution that before they can recommend people run out and buy cocoa, they first have to pinpoint the trigger and make sure it's sustainable.

They also caution that drinking two cocoas a day, long term, could cause weight gain that may ultimately hinder brain activity.
