The Canton Charge led wire to wire in a 113-103 triumph over the Sioux Falls Skyforce  at the Canton Memorial Civic Center on Tuesday night.

Canton (5-4) led for virtually the entire game, beginning with Stephen Holt’s layup to go up 2-0 at the 11:27 mark of the first quarter.  Canton tied a franchise record by dishing out 31 assists on 42-of-75 attempts from the floor (56%).  The Charge also were hot from beyond the arc, nailing a season-high 16 triples on 27 attempts.

Chris Crawford paced the Charge with a superb all-around effort of 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting with eight boards and nine assists.  Michael Dunigan stepped up for a season-high 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting and seven rebounds.  Stephen Holt poured in 19 points on 5-of-7 three-point shooting with five rebounds, six assists and two steals.

The Skyforce (3-5) had three players score 20+ points in the defeat, led by Miami Heat assignee Andre Dawkins’ 28 points and six rebounds.  See the highlights above for a full scope of the exploits of Dawkins.  Khem Birch added 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting with seven boards.  Fuquan Edwin posted 20 points and four steals.

The Charge stay at the Canton Memorial Civic Center to face the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday, while the Skyforce return from their road trip and meet the Iowa Energy on Friday night at the Sanford Pentagon.
