VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) - Quarterback Cody Bunger helped Canistota set six records while guiding the Hawks to a 52-8 win over Warner Thursday in the South Dakota 9A football championship game.

Bunger set records for passing yards (294), total offense (318) and first downs passing (11). The Hawks (12-0) also established records for net yards passing (327) and total first downs (26).

Bunger, who also had three interceptions, hooked up with receiver Nick Hofer seven times for a record 195 yards.

Alex Robertson ran 18 times for 129 yards and two scores.

Warner's (11-1) Mitchell Boesl caught five passes for 120 yards and the Monarchs' only score.
