We got an email from Marie yesterday. She gave a gift card to a friend of hers last year. He didn't use it for the longest time and she was giving him a hard time for not using it.

She emailed us after he finally told her he used it... on a gift for her!

Is that wrong? I don't think so. Once that gift has changed hands it is the property of the receiver and they can do whatever they want with it. What difference does it make if he spent his money at the same place or spent the gift card? None!

What do you think?
