Go ahead and add Brock Osweiler to the quarterback unemployment line after the Cleveland Browns cut him on Friday.

Osweiler was traded to Cleveland from Houston last spring and the thought was that he would compete for the starting job along side the other QB's with the Browns.

He did and it didn't work out for Brock.

He was beat out by rookie Desean Kizer out of Notre Dame and there was no fit nor need for the Browns moving forward.

With the likes of RGIII, Colin Kaepernick and now Brock Osweiler as former starters now looking for work, the added advantage for Osweiler in that market is he is a prototypical drop back QB and in today's NFL he becomes a much more valuable commodity on the open market.

Look for the NY Jets or others in dyer need of QB depth to reach out to Osweiler over the next few days.
