Sioux Falls and Iowa have played three games against each other in the last eight days.  The Energy prevailed on their home court 123-115 after surrendering the first two games in the set in a daytime skirmish.

Othyus Jeffers returned for the Energy (18-11) after spending 10 days with San Antonio to log 20 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.  Jarvis Varnado was also in the fold for Iowa notching 18 points, 9 rebounds and one block after spending nearly a month out of action with a hip injury.  Leading the way for the home squad who played in front of a mostly elementary school crowd of 6,277 at Wells Fargo Arena was Patrick Christopher with 26 counters.

For the Skyforce (17-10), Tre Kelley continues to pour in the points with 34 marking his 7th straight game with at least 20.  Larry Drew II posted a season high 21, followed by Justin Hamilton with 18 and DeAndre Liggins posted a near triple double of 17 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists.  You get up close and personal for a couple of Hamilton Slams in the video below.

Sioux Falls plays 5 games in 8 days starting with today’s contest.  The Skyforce play at Fort Wayne on Saturday while Iowa will have a home date with Erie on Saturday also.  Erie will then face Sioux Falls at the Sanford Pentagon on Sunday.
