Body of Sioux City Woman Found in South Dakota

What were the circumstances in the death of Alicia Hummel and who was involved?

Those are the questions the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation are pursuing in her suspicious death.

Alicia's body was found late afternoon on Monday June 1, 2015 near the boat dock at Myron Grove, also known as the Highline Area of Clay County, South Dakota. Hummel was 29-years-old from Sioux City, Iowa.

Authorities are asking for help with information on any suspicious activity in this area on the afternoon of June 1, 2015 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. This suspicious activity may have involved a dark colored sedan with tinted windows and a loud exhaust system.
