Blackhawks, Caps to Play In Winter Classic

I love this news!  My favorite hockey squad will be playing in this years Winter Classic as MY Blackhawks will take on the Washington Capitals.

Now it was announced back in January that the Capitals would be hosting the game, but until today, it was not made aware which team would be their opponent.

ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun first reported the news according to espn.com it apprears as if Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals will be the location of the outdoor game.  Scheduling issues with FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins seems to be why Nationals Park will be the host.

One of the best specticles in sports, NHL's Winter Classic is a must watch and a bucket list item for me. With my team playing in 2015 at the Winter Classic, I might just be able to visit Washington DC for the first time and cross off a item on my bucket list in the process.
