Best + Worst Dressed of the Week
Our Best + Worst Dressed this week finds Taylor Swift occupying two spots and mommy-to-be Halle Berry on the right side of maternity dressing. There are also some familiar faces who keep repeating their positions on this list.
She was a golden goddess at the 2013 ACMs in her sparkly and glittery Dolce & Gabbana gown. Her stylist has been hitting all the high notes with the column gowns and red carpet ensembles. The high ponytail was also glam.
Between her statuesque height, the ensembles and the pout, Swift looks like a model.
Taylor Swift … Again
The pop-country crossover queen nailed it twice this week.
While performing at a Tim McGraw concert special, T. Swizzle donned a black Elizabeth & James LBD with some sheer panels on the arms and an open back. It was simple, but it clung to every inch of her body. With three-quarter length sleeves and sexy strappies on her feet, Swift was uncharacteristically sultry, but in a subtle way.
Elizabeth & James is the contemporary line of the Olsen Twins. We pointed out last week that those two win design awards, and this dress shows why.
Jason Sudeikis’ main squeeze ushered in spring with her lemon yellow and white Moniquie Lhuillier party frock, which benefits from the pocket detail. it might be the color of a lemon meringue pie, but she looks good enough to eat in this playful dress. Notice her pretty green eye makeup, which brings out the hue of the dress, too.
This is how a mom-to-be should dress. The actress squeezed into a clingy black Michael Kors LBD, which accentuated her still-small baby bump.
The actress and sister of mega hottie Jake frumped out in this print Isabel Marant dress. The dowdy design, top and length of the hem kill it for her. This is middle school principal wear. Her messy pixie cut is also a dud.
Why is actress Paula Patton, wife of Robin Thicke, trying to dress like Kim Kardashian? This trashy-sexy skirt is too short for her leggy frame. Did Thicke, who constantly talks about banging his wife, force her to wear this?
We love leather and lace, but not in the way in which Li Lo has paired ‘em here. High-waisted leather skirts look good when they’re pencil shaped, not full.
