Hi, Ben here, I’m embarking on a mission to not be fat when I turn 42. To do that I’ve partnered with Profile by Sanford and I want to take you with me on my journey.

I've talked a lot about the what a valuable the Profile coaches have been for me while I'm on my Profile journey. Another amazing resource that I want to point out is the recipe database on the Profile website.

Part of Profile that I like is that I have a list and an eating schedule. I know what to eat and when. But, days of salad and steamed vegetables can get boring, and then I run the risk of falling off plan. That's where som creative, and simple, recipes from Profile come in handy. I'm still on plan and getting my vegetables, but I'm mixing it up.

This has really been helpful as Sioux Falls slides into fall and I want my chili. Cumin, chili powder and tomatoes combined into manna from heaven. But, I'm living a bean-less lifestyle right now, what am I going to do?

I made this over the weekend and it was great. I got to have a warm bowl of spices and veggies with the family. Usually I don't really have a problem eating a different meal than everybody else. I don't miss hot dogs or mac and cheese. But, having the opportunity to eat what everyone was eating helps make these lifestyle changes into a permanent way of life.

And with Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, I 'm looking for east alternatives that will let me be a part of things but not weighted down with an anchor made of carbs. I'm going to try this: Garlic Herb Mashed Cauliflower.

There are recipes that are tailored for each phase of the program. Many of them use the various meal replacements to create the dishes, so you're on plan and expanding your options.
