FRISCO, Texas – Augustana's Tom Billeter, Daniel Jansen and Casey Schilling were honored by Basketball Times on Thursday. Billeter was named the 2015-16 Coach of the Year and Jansen and Schilling were named First Team All-America.

Billeter, in his 13th season at Augustana, has led the Vikings to their first Elite Eight appearance in program history in 2015-16. Augustana has won a program-best 32 games in 2015-16 and is a combined 63-5 over the last two years. The Vikings are making their seventh NCAA Tournament appearance under Billeter's direction this season, including the first trip to the Elite Eight. He has led the Vikings to 20 or more wins in a season five times in his career. Augustana won back-to-back NSIC Regular Season and Tournament titles in 2014-15 and 2015-16 and secured the program's first ever region championship this season.

Jansen, a 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward from Orange City, Iowa, was recently named the NABC 2016 Division II National Player of the Year. Jansen was the first at Augustana to score over 2,000 career points and is the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,217 points. He also ranks fifth all-time with 845 rebounds in his career. Jansen has been named to eight All-America teams in his career and has been named the NSIC and Central Region Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons.

A three-time All-NSIC First Team selection, Jansen is averaging 20.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 53.8 percent from the field. He recently earned his third straight All-NSIC First Team honor. He has set a new single season scoring mark in 2015-16 with 683 points and has scored in double-digits in 31 of 33 games this season, including 20-plus points 18 times. Jansen also became the NSIC's all-time leading scorer in 2015-16 having scored 1,521 points in 88 career conference games. Jansen is one of just five active players in Division II (11 in all of NCAA basketball) with 2,000-plus career points and 600-plus career rebounds.

Schilling, a 6-foot-6 215-pound forward from Ellsworth, Minn., was also recently named to the NABC All-America team. Schilling is averaging 19.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 steals and just under one block per game in 2015-16. Schilling is shooting 53.4 percent from the field and recently moved up to second all-time in scoring at Augustana. He has scored 2,017 points in his career and enters the week ranked third all-time at Augustana with 969 career rebounds. He is one of just three players in program history with 900-plus rebounds and has the second most rebounds of all active players in Division II. Schilling is one of just five active players in Division II (11 in all of NCAA basketball) with 2,000-plus career points and 600-plus career rebounds. Schilling has been named All-NSIC First Team in three straight seasons and was named the Defensive Player of the Year by the NSIC's coaches for the second straight season in 2015-16.

Augustana will take on Western Oregon tonight in the NCAA Division II national semifinals at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas at 8:30 p.m. (CT).
