Avril Lavigne is coming back! The Canadian mall pop punker's latest effort, 'Here's to Never Growing Up,' finally has a release date.

The single, produced by Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson, will drop April 9, per the starlet's Facebook page. Ryan Seacrest will debut the single to radio the same day.

The song will be the first from Lavigne's upcoming fifth studio album, her first under Epic Records. Lavigne promised the new album, unlike it's underwhelming predecessor, 2011's 'Goodbye Lullaby,' will be "pop and more fun again."

Lavigne previously previewed the track with a 13-second snippet, and it appears she's going more towards arena emo with her "whoa-oh" hook than ever before. The tempo is slower, and though the song (and even the cover art) is about embracing your inner child, from the brief preview, it actually sounds like one of the most adult tracks the future Mrs. Chad Kroeger's ever done.
